This role is for a First Cutter, an hourly Lead Person in the Meat Department. The primary responsibilities include supervising the department's production activity while working as a senior Meat Cutter. Key duties involve creating and maintaining the department's cutting list, prioritizing tasks, assigning jobs, and supervising the Cutting Room crew. This also includes ordering, receiving, and checking in merchandise, organizing the cooler and freezer, providing customer service, product rotation, inventory control, cutting, packaging, sanitation, and housekeeping. Secondary duties include assisting the Meat Manager and covering for them in their absence.
