About The Position

This position provides vital support to campus customers by staffing the First Aid Booth at Wyoming Athletic Events. The role involves administering emergency medical care, coordinating with emergency personnel, and assisting fans. Requirements

• Current First Aid and CPR Certifications required
• AED trained
• Hold one of the following licenses- Wyoming Certified Nursing Assistant, Wyoming Registered Nurse or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Staff the First Aid Booth at all Wyoming football, basketball games and some external events (concerts, commencements, etc)
• Administer emergency medical care when needed until paramedics/ EMTs arrive
• Work in conjunction with EMT and police personnel to respond to medical emergencies within the stadium and arena
• Use radios to communicate with event staff and emergency personnel
• Aid fans in need of mobility assistance by pushing wheelchairs when needed
