This co-op position focuses on two main areas: Firmware Development Tools & Infrastructure (70%) and Embedded Firmware Implementation (30%). In the tools and infrastructure aspect, you will develop and enhance firmware build automation and toolchains, create CI workflows and automated testing solutions, integrate code quality, security, and static analysis tools, and improve source control, code review, and release processes. You will also document and standardize development workflows. For the embedded firmware implementation, you will develop firmware for next-generation actuator platforms, assist with BSP, driver, and application software development, debug firmware and support hardware bring-up activities, participate in product validation and testing, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
