About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Fireplace Installer to join our Omaha team. This position focuses on the professional installation of fireplace products in customer homes and job sites. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, and customer service, along with the ability to work effectively with internal teams throughout the installation process. The Fireplace Installer is responsible for ensuring fireplace products are installed correctly, safely, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and company standards. This role supports customer satisfaction and long‑term product performance through accurate installation, attention to detail, and professional on‑site conduct. Installation work is the primary function of the role, with additional operational support provided as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in fireplace installation, construction, or related trade preferred (0–2 years).
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to perform installation work involving gas and electrical components within training and code requirements, preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work in residential, commercial job sites, and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver fireplace units, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to work on ladders, rooftops, and elevated work areas as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fireplace installations from site preparation through completion.
  • Verify job site conditions, measurements, clearances, and venting requirements prior to installation.
  • Install gas, electric, or wood‑burning fireplace units according to manufacturer instructions and approved plans.
  • Secure units properly and complete finish work, sealing, and final adjustments.
  • Coordinate with trades for gas, electrical, or venting work when required.
  • Coordinate with contractor job statuses.
  • Perform all installation work in compliance with safety procedures, manufacturer requirements, and company standards.
  • Inspect completed installations to ensure safe operation and quality workmanship.
  • Identify, correct, or report unsafe conditions or installation concerns.
  • Support quality outcomes by reducing rework, callbacks, and installation‑related issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of tools and installation materials on assigned vehicle.
  • Account for materials used on each installation per company process.
  • Keep installation vehicles clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Complete required installation documentation, job notes, and photos accurately and timely.
  • Stay on schedule and communicate delays as needed.
  • Attend required meetings and training.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
