About The Position

Superior Industrial Fire Services, Inc. is hiring an Industrial Firefighter to work at the BMW Plant in Greer or Woodruff, South Carolina. The role offers a base annual starting rate of $47,989, with additional overtime available. Under direct supervision, the Firefighter trains for and participates in duties to control and extinguish fires, rescue people endangered by structural fires, and respond to medical aid calls, vehicle accidents, and hazardous materials incidents. This is a safety-sensitive position subject to the company's Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy. The BMW Fire Department's mission is to provide a high level of safety to associates and visitors within Plant 10 and Woodruff, protect life and property, and support BMW operations through teamwork, innovation, and adaptability.

Requirements

Hold a current NFPA 1001 Firefighter II certification with Hazardous Materials-Operations, issued by a state, IFSAC, or Pro-Board.
Complete NIMS ICS-100, 200, 700, and 800 by the time of hire.
Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver's license, preferably with a Class E endorsement, and an acceptable driving record.
