About The Position

Superior Industrial Fire Services, Inc. is hiring Industrial Firefighters to work at the BMW Plant in Greer or Woodruff, South Carolina. The role supports the BMW Fire Department’s mission of protecting the lives and property of associates and visitors and supporting BMW operations through teamwork, innovation, and adaptability. The base annual starting rate is $47,989, with additional overtime available. Under direct supervision, the Firefighter trains for and participates in duties related to controlling and extinguishing fires, rescuing people endangered by structural fires, and responding to medical aid calls, vehicle accidents, and hazardous-materials incidents. This is a safety-sensitive position subject to the company’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; a Class E endorsement is preferred.
Current NFPA 1001 Firefighter II certification with Hazardous Materials-Operations, issued by the state, IFSAC, or Pro-Board.
Completion of NIMS ICS-100, 200, 700, and 800 by the time of hire.
Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
