About The Position

Premise is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to client employees and their dependents at its Health Center in Greer, South Carolina. The nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with healthcare providers while working within the scope of practice and under provider supervision.

The schedule is Monday 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Tuesday 7:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., Wednesday 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Thursday 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and every fourth Saturday of the month 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing-accredited program; an associate degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current license as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in the state of practice.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers.
• At least three years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers under their supervision and within scope of practice.
• Perform and document medical tasks, including medication administration, wound care, observation of reactions to treatments, and collection of urine, blood, and sputum specimens based on provider orders.
• Maintain medical equipment, ensure a clean and safe environment, and follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
