About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining customer service according to company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards. The associate will greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find product locations. They will also answer incoming phone calls, maintain constant radio communication with all associates, and possess comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells. Maintaining awareness of product knowledge information and merchandise promotions is key. The role also involves assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping. Additional duties include helping in other departments when needed, performing daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing trash bags, and sweeping, and other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Strong attention to detail.
