About The Position

Well known local Portland company is looking for a long-term member to add to their growing team! This is a full-time position with temporary pay of $18.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM, with the possibility of some after-hours work. The role involves restoring buildings damaged by fire and water, including demolition, debris removal, and removing damaged material. The job requires standing for the entire shift, following instructions and safety guidelines, and repetitive lifting depending on the project. The working environment will vary depending on the project, and comfort with entering crawlspaces is necessary.

Requirements

• No experience required – training provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Demolition
• Restoring buildings damaged by fire
• Restoring buildings damaged by Water
• Moving debris
• Removing damaged material
• Stand the entire shift
• Follow instructions and follow safety guidelines
• Lift repetitively throughout shift (WEIGHT DEPENDS ON PROJECT)
• Work in varying working environments depending on project
• Be comfortable going into crawlspaces
