About The Position

As a Water & Fire Restoration Technician, you will be directly involved in hands-on restoration tasks, assisting in property recovery after water, fire, or mold damage. You will operate specialized equipment and assist customers through the recovery process, ensuring properties are restored safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Physical ability to handle heavy lifting and labor-intensive tasks
• Strong communication skills with a professional and courteous attitude
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Availability to participate in an on-call rotation (one week per month)

Nice To Haves

• IICRC certification preferred (training is available)
• Experience in restoration, construction, or mitigation is advantageous, but not required

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls for water, fire, and mold-related damage
• Evaluate property damage and determine mitigation strategies
• Extract water and use drying equipment to prevent further damage
• Perform safe and effective mold remediation
• Carry out selective demolition (including drywall, framing, and plumbing as needed)
• Clean, sanitize, and deodorize affected areas
• Safeguard and relocate customer belongings during restoration
• Document progress, including taking photos, readings, and notes
• Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment
• Communicate clearly with customers about work progress and safety measures
