This position involves performing the installation of fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial and industrial applications. The role requires the ability to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements, and all duties must be performed in a safe and professional manner. As a sprinkler service tech/inspector, you will efficiently and neatly perform the inspection of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems. You will maintain proper documentation for work performed and adhere to company safety policies and procedures. In this position, you will be provided with verbal and written instructions, and you will also provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices. The job requires carrying/moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs and performing physical labor in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, having a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt quickly are also essential.
