About The Position

They are experts in design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of all types of fire protection systems in virtually all commercial markets for each stage of a building's life cycle. The Fire Sprinkler Service Technician is responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company quality and safety requirements.

Requirements

High school education
3+ years of fire sprinkler service or installation experience
Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA standards
Ability to read and interpret system drawings and specifications
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills
Email proficiency

Nice To Haves

NICET certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

Perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
Diagnose system issues and identify required repairs or corrective actions.
Conduct system testing, flushing, and functional checks.
Document service activities, deficiencies, and corrective actions accurately.
Communicate system status and service needs with customers and internal teams.
Coordinate with inspectors, project managers, and other technicians as needed.
Maintain service vehicles, tools, and inventory.
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Support emergency and on-call service requests as required.
