The Fire Sprinkler Foreman installs sprinkler heads, valves, and steel and CPVC piping in new construction and renovation projects, working with minimal supervision. The foreman coordinates assigned projects with the superintendent, general contractor, employees, vendors, and other contractors; supports project schedules and budgets; and oversees job-site documentation, materials, safety, and work quality. The role also trains sprinkler fitters and apprentices and reports progress and job-related issues to the superintendent or general contractor and direct supervisor. The foreman is responsible for keeping work areas, tools, equipment, supplies, and the company vehicle safe, clean, maintained, and accounted for. The position requires frequent local travel and occasional regional and non-regional travel, as well as work indoors and outdoors in varied temperatures and potentially noisy, cramped, dusty, or hazardous conditions. Summit Fire & Security describes itself as a full-service fire detection, suppression, and security provider operating across more than 70 locations in over 20 states.
