About The Position

Responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects. Ensures systems are installed according to NFPA standards, project specifications, and company quality and safety standards. This is a field-based role at active construction and retrofit sites. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

High school diploma.
1–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation or pipefitting.
Knowledge of fire sprinkler installation practices and NFPA standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
Microsoft Office application, word, and email skills.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working at heights, in confined spaces, and in variable weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

NICET certification or trade-related training.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain fire sprinkler piping, fittings, and devices according to plans and specifications.
Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes using hand and power tools.
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Assist with pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of sprinkler systems.
Coordinate with foremen, other trades, and field personnel to support project schedule adherence.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training.
