About The Position

Security USA, Inc. is a growing security company serving residential properties, commercial locations, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and upscale retail in New Jersey and New York. The company has immediate openings for Fire Safety Directors at several locations in New York City, across the listed shifts. The role involves monitoring and responding to fire panel alerts, conducting fire inspections and drills, completing reports and log entries, supporting lobby and front-desk security, assisting guests, and directing other security staff.

Requirements

• Valid New York Security Guard License.
• Valid F89 or T89 cards, or Z89 certificate.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Great customer service attitude.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle basic computer and smartphone operations.
• Ability to stand for long periods if required.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle the fire panel and address alerts or concerns, taking the system offline when required.
• Write detailed reports, make log entries, and submit reports through the online reporting system.
• Perform fire inspections and handle fire drills.
• Secure the lobby and front-desk area and assist with other security matters.
• Greet guests and direct them to appropriate staff when asked.
• Supervise and provide directions to other security staff.
