About The Position

At Viking, we don’t just manufacture fire protection equipment—we manufacture peace of mind. For over a century, our innovations have helped safeguard people and property around the globe. We live our values of innovation, integrity, and uncompromising safety every day. If you want your leadership to have purpose, your ideas to be heard, and your growth to be encouraged, join us and help protect what matters most. A day in the life You start your shift with a quick floor walk: confirming schedules, scanning KPIs for output per person, and checking safety and housekeeping standards. You coordinate with Customer Service and the Warehouse to align shipments. A machine alert sends you to the line—basic setup and maintenance get things back on track. You host a quick huddle to assign work, plan overtime needs, and coach team members. Midday, you partner with the Branch Operations Manager to troubleshoot a fabrication issue and kick off a continuous improvement project to prevent a recurrence. You complete quality audits, capture metrics, and represent the shop’s progress in regional quality discussions. Before closing, you verify consumables are stocked and delivery commitments are secure—on time, at the right cost, with the right quality.
