About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring a Fire Marshal Security Officer in Detroit, Michigan. The role focuses on customer service, vigilance, and protecting clients and their property. Officers welcome and assist visitors, manage access, patrol for risks, respond to incidents, and communicate security concerns. The schedule is 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with Tuesday and Wednesday off. The position pays $20.55 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Have security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Have a state license if required.
• Have two years of fire experience or security experience in the auto industry.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
