About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring a Fire Marshal Security Officer in Detroit, Michigan. The role emphasizes customer service, vigilance, and protecting clients, individuals, and property. The officer builds confidence through meaningful connections while performing security and fire-safety duties. The schedule is 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with Tuesday and Wednesday off. The position pays $20.55 per hour. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass an extensive screening process.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic phone and computer proficiency.
• Must have security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Must have a state license if required.
• Must have two years of fire experience or security experience in the auto industry.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
