The South Placer Fire District is a tax-supported governmental agency that provides emergency and non-emergency services to the Community of the South Placer Fire District and other communities under local agreements and the California State Mutual Aid Plan. This work unit is responsible for fire station management, station shift supervision, crew supervision, and tasks associated with fire suppression, hazardous condition mitigation, emergency rescue, medical treatment, and pre/post-emergency activities. Employees shall be first in command of the fire station to which they are assigned. The work unit works 24-hour shifts or as needed for emergencies or staffing call back.
