Fire Alarm Technician / Security System Instructor
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking Fire Alarm and/or Security Systems Access Control Instructors for its Electrical and Electronic Systems program in Whitestone, NY. The instructor will teach the accredited curriculum and provide practical, hands-on training in a fully equipped facility. The role includes teaching safety procedures and industry regulations, motivating students to develop professionalism and accountability, assessing and communicating student progress, and preparing students for careers in the electrical and electronics systems industry. Teaching experience is not required; Lincoln Tech supports industry experts transitioning into teaching roles.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in fire alarm/fire detection, security/CCTV/surveillance, or PLC.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with technology.
