The Fire Alarm Construction Estimator/Sales position will be responsible for estimating and preparing proposals for fire alarm installation systems. This role involves performing bid layouts, completing material takeoffs, obtaining vendor pricing, and writing quotes. The position requires reading, learning, interpreting, and applying code requirements pertaining to job specifications, and working with sales, operations, and design staff to interpret project specifications. The role also involves producing timely and accurate estimates according to fixed bid dates/schedules, producing status reports, and acting as a key participant in planning meetings. Accurate entries into operating systems and regular updates to Compass are also required. The employee must model the way and act in accordance with the Company’s Core Values at all times. Other duties as required and or assigned.
