About The Position

Ensures that all outgoing jobs have been correctly processed and meet all industry and company standards for optics and cosmetics, utilizing automated and manual processes as appropriate. Jobs not meeting standards are documented and forwarded to the appropriate section for disposition.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • ABO Certification required or ability to acquire it within 24 months of obtaining position.
  • All Associates must comply with the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as it pertains to disclosures of protected health information (PHI) as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices and HIPAA Privacy Policies and Procedures.
  • As a component of job roles and responsibilities, Associates may have access to covered information, cardholder data or other confidential customer information which must be protected at all times.
  • As a result, Associates must explicitly adhere to all data security guidelines established within the Company’s Privacy & Security Training Program.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize tray processing flow as dictated by color code system.
  • Verify that all areas outlined on the work ticket checklist are within standards for uncut and finished eyewear.
  • Validate Versant Health, ANSI and New Jersey Prescription Tolerance and Standards compliance utilizing lens analyzer.
  • Properly identify errors creating breakage rejects at the final inspection station.
  • Maintain production standards as assigned by management.
  • Inspect lens analyzer for proper functionality and replace paper rolls as needed.
  • Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and principles.
  • Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment and workstation.
  • May mentor and coach other associates as needed.
  • May rotate among other functions within work cell.
  • Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), prescribed safety and hazardous materials handling procedures, and Federal/State laws regulating hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.
