Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Finished Goods Scheduler/Shipping Clerk. Responsible for the efficient running of Shipping & Finished Goods on 1st shift within the Bennington, VT manufacturing location.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of Scheduling experience preferred
  • This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily activities of operators and production-specific employees in a multi shift, multi department precision electronic component manufacturing operation.
  • Plans and schedules workload to ensure smooth operations and the production of orders in sequence assigned by production control department. Expedites finished orders and the receipt of whenever required to meet customer schedules.
  • Ensures that processing of all parts meets standards and that customer orders are accomplished in accordance with pertinent specifications and high quality control requirements.
  • Ensures that all assigned equipment is in satisfactory working condition with regard to output and safety considerations.
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
  • Monitoring and expediting critical orders
  • Maintaining semi-FG inventory accuracy
  • Keeping production movement in/out of MRB in a timely manner
  • Monitoring weekly output and working with outgoing shipping to maintain KPI’s
  • DN creation as needed.
  • Back-up coverage for shipping and receiving
  • Schedules cathodes
  • Other duties as assigned
