About The Position

The Finished Goods Loader is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of finished products onto various transportation methods such as tankers, railcars, meal trucks, and trailers. This role also involves obtaining product samples for laboratory analysis, maintaining accurate paperwork, weighing trucks, and performing general cleaning duties in the work area. Adherence to all company safety rules and regulations is paramount.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to operate non-CLD industrial vehicles/equipment (backhoe, telehandler, yard dog truck, etc.).
Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
The ability to competently perform all the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, demonstrated commitment to effective customer service delivery, integrity, and the ability to work productively as a member of a team or work group are basic requirements of all positions at Darling Ingredients.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience in loader operation and maintenance.
Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable.
Applicant availability for either shift preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the loading and unloading of all finished products on tankers, railcars, meal trucks, trailers, etc.
Obtains proper samples and sends to lab for analysis in addition to maintaining proper paperwork.
Weigh trucks after loading, complete documentation, and turn into scale/dispatcher.
Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
Maintains safety in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
All other duties as assigned.
