About The Position

At Utz Quality Foods, we are seeking a Finished Goods Handler to join our manufacturing team in Hanover on Weekend Night Shift working Friday-Sunday 5:30PM-5:30AM. This is a hands-on role supporting our advanced robotics and finished goods operations within Plant 3. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, staying active throughout the shift, and being part of a team that keeps production moving safely and efficiently. As a Finished Goods Handler, you’ll play a key role in transporting product, supporting robotic operations, coordinating trailer movement, and ensuring finished products meet quality and food safety standards before shipment.

Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, robotics, or forklift experience preferred
  • Forklift certification or ability to become forklift certified required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and make operational adjustments
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required
  • Ability to work independently while contributing within a team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to cross-train and learn multiple operational responsibilities
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
  • Flexibility to support operational needs as required
  • Requires basic math and reading skills.
  • Knowledge of types and locations of products and truck loading procedures acquired through on the job training.
  • The ability to prioritize workload to satisfy all production requirements.
  • Requires a forklift operator’s license.
  • Requires the ability to operate a hand jack and life up to 45 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using systems such as Redzone, D365, or similar manufacturing software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Transport, load, and unload bulk finished products within the robotics area
  • Pull orders and coordinate trailer movement with local and surrounding facilities
  • Help prepare robotic systems for production and make operational adjustments as needed
  • Program, troubleshoot, and adjust robotic equipment to support production efficiency
  • Assist with shrink wrapping responsibilities for repack and non-repack products
  • Support dumper and forklift operations as needed throughout the facility
  • Use printers to apply appropriate codes, pricing, and labels to bags, cases, and products
  • Routinely inspect products for correct weight, code dates, pricing, and package integrity
  • Complete manufacturing paperwork, inventory transactions, and data entry accurately and efficiently
  • Operate and communicate effectively using Redzone and D365 systems
  • Cross-train in additional finished goods responsibilities
  • Communicate production issues, concerns, and improvement opportunities to leadership
  • Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
  • Follow all safety policies, GMPs, food safety standards, and company procedures at all times
