About The Position

The Financial Wellness Rep is a member of Hanscom Federal Credit Union’s Branch Network, serving members at the Billerica Branch. The role focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality member service, completing the credit union’s Financial Wellness certification program, and applying that certification in member interactions. The representative handles personal operational responsibilities in accordance with compliance standards and works toward personal sales goals, including referring members to certified Financial Wellness Coaches. The position requires a full understanding of in-branch services, including account opening, loan application processing, and transaction processing. The representative may support business development events at the manager’s request and is expected to seek or advance Loan Officer status. This is a full-time, permanent role with an incentive or bonus program and opportunities for career growth and development.

Requirements

At least one year of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
High school degree or equivalent.
Significant trust, credibility, and diplomacy when communicating with customers, direct and indirect reports, and outside vendors, including on sensitive or confidential matters.
Ability to communicate in ways that may motivate, influence, educate, or advise others on significant matters.
Ability to bend, sit, and stand to perform primarily sedentary work, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
Ability to climb and descend stairs in an emergency.
Ability to operate routine office equipment, including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
Ability to work on a computer for an average of 6–8 hours per day when necessary.
Ability to work extended hours or travel off site when required or requested by management.
Regular, reliable, and timely attendance.

Responsibilities

Participate in and complete the credit union’s Financial Wellness certification program, and achieve, maintain, and apply the certification.
Deliver high-quality, consistent member service.
Conduct personal operations, including assigned cash drawer and member document processing, in alignment with operational compliance standards.
Work toward personal sales goals, including referring members to certified Financial Wellness Coaches.
Maintain a full understanding of in-branch service functions, including account opening, loan application processing, and transaction processing.
Assist in ensuring in-branch compliance with Credit Union service levels.
Participate in business development events at the manager’s request.
Seek to obtain or advance Loan Officer status.
Perform other duties as assigned.
