Provides efficient, functional support to one or more designated financial processes or systems acting as the Subject Matter Expert. This includes daily transactional processing and balancing, customer support/trouble shooting, completes/maintains documentation, delivers user training, executes change management, tests new or adjusted functionality, and provides other ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience supporting financial applications (vendor or proprietary).
  • Ability to manage moderately complex projects.
  • Strong customer service orientation with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-starting work style.
  • Strong Excel skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or Oracle-based custom applications.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage support mailbox for end-user inquiries.
  • Performs financial daily and monthly balancing for data sent or received between systems.
  • Investigates production issues, involving cross-functional teams when needed.
  • Provide end-user training and support for upstream/downstream application teams.
  • Complete reports, metrics, and analysis as required.
  • Build strong relationships with users and propose system/process improvements.
  • Test and document changes for enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality.
  • Maintain system reference and end-user documentation.
  • Provide financial business support as requested.
