Position Summary: The VCU Financial Success Center by VACU is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates to apply for the role of Financial Success Program Manager. The primary purpose of the Financial Success Program Manager is to guide and counsel students as it relates to personal finance matters including options to pay for college, financing options with persistence to graduation, budgeting, building credit, and minimizing debt. The Financial Success Program Manager will play an active role in creating a culture of care as a part of the student’s success team by fostering meaningful relationships with students and campus partners to enhance the students’ successful university experience. The Financial Success Program Manager is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, accountability and collaboration with various VCU campus partners and departments. The Financial Success Program Manager is expected to assist in coordinating and administering the VCU Financial Success Center’s financial well-being and education services while providing individual financial counseling and outreach programming. The Financial Success Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, Graduate Assistant(s) and student staff to help manage the operations of the VCU Financial Success Center by VACU. Please Note: This is a “restricted position” with funding for one year (with potential for renewal). Employment eligibility after one year is dependent upon successful performance and continued funding.
