To strengthen our motivated Finance Team in Puerto Rico, we are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Specialist for a three-month contract assignment. The Financial Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing financial processes, with a focus on expense analysis, and financial reporting. This position ensures efficient payment processing, vendor management, and compliance with internal controls while also analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve financial operations, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance workflow efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bilingual
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as account payable and finance, accounting experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in manufacturing ERP systems
- Month-end close experience
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as Open Accounts, Radius, or similar financial platforms
- Advanced Excel skills and are comfortable analyzing data, preparing reports, and supporting financial operations
- Technology-driven and able to leverage automation and digital tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting processes
Responsibilities
- Resolve “3-way match” disagreements on a weekly basis
- Participate in share service initiatives
- Manage tie financial deadlines
- Develop automated accounting or financial excel applications
- Assist in preparing journal entries
- Do monthly closing and balance sheet reconciliation
- Assist performing budget and cost analysis
- Prepare financial performance analysis reports
