About The Position

QAD is seeking an enthusiastic Financial Solutions Consultant to join its New Business Sales team. This role serves as the primary product and financial solution expert, bridging complex financial and business challenges with QAD's high-performance solutions. The consultant will partner with Account Executives to win new clients, leading discovery sessions, qualifying functional fit, delivering outcome-driven presentations, and collaborating on win strategies. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, charismatic finance and accounting savvy individual who thrives in a sales environment and excels at demonstrating how technology can drive ROI and transform financial processes.

Requirements

• Five+ years within a sales environment selling ERP.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high morale and activity levels during long-tail deals.
• A proven track record in a customer-facing Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales role within the enterprise software (SaaS) space.
• A solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, including the financial close process, General Ledger (G/L), and key ERP Financial modules such as Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax Management and Cost Management.
• The ability to think on your feet, translate technical jargon into business value, and adapt quickly during live, outcome-focused demonstrations when conditions change.
• Experience with Generative AI in the workplace to make tasks efficient.

Nice To Haves

• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Information Systems.
• Certifications like CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or AAT are desirable.
• Hands-on experience or deep competitive knowledge of alternative ERP products (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Familiarity with Generative AI applications and how they are transforming enterprise software and supply chain analytics.
• Understanding of AWS infrastructure and modern cloud deployment methodologies.
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Information Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Discovery: Conduct high-impact, interactive client discovery sessions to uncover deep business pain points, strategic goals, and operational bottlenecks specifically related to financial processes, accounting, and regulatory compliance.
• Functional Fit Qualification: Actively participate in the qualification process, analysing prospect requirements to ensure our Adaptive ERP, and complementary solutions are the perfect engine for their financial needs.
• Deliver Outcome-Driven Presentations: Design, build, and deliver compelling software demonstrations and executive presentations, focusing on tangible business outcomes and ROI through financial process transformation, improved financial visibility, and efficient statutory reporting.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to build customised win strategies, craft RFP/RFI responses, and navigate complex technical evaluations.
• Be the Expert: Maintain a premier level of knowledge regarding QAD’s suite of solutions, financial and accounting industry trends (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP), and the competitive grid.

• Base pay range: $135,000 - $160,000 USD Annual (12 Months)
