About The Position

QAD is seeking an enthusiastic Financial Solutions Consultant to join its New Business Sales team. This role acts as the primary product and financial solution expert, bridging complex financial and business challenges with QAD's high-performance solutions. The consultant will partner closely with Account Executives to win new clients, leading discovery sessions, qualifying functional fit, delivering outcome-driven presentations, and collaborating on win strategies. The ideal candidate is high-energy, charismatic, finance and accounting savvy, and thrives in a sales environment, demonstrating the ability to command an audience and showcase how technology can drive ROI and competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Five+ years within a sales environment selling ERP.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high morale and activity levels during long-tail deals.
  • Proven track record in a customer-facing Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales role within the enterprise software (SaaS) space.
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, including the financial close process, General Ledger (G/L), and key ERP Financial modules such as Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax Management and Cost Management.
  • Ability to think on your feet, translate technical jargon into business value, and adapt quickly during live, outcome-focused demonstrations.
  • Experience with Generative AI in the workplace to make tasks efficient.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Information Systems.
  • Certifications like CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or AAT.
  • Hands-on experience or deep competitive knowledge of alternative ERP products (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Familiarity with Generative AI applications and their impact on enterprise software and supply chain analytics.
  • Understanding of AWS infrastructure and modern cloud deployment methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact, interactive client discovery sessions to uncover deep business pain points, strategic goals, and operational bottlenecks related to financial processes, accounting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze prospect requirements to ensure QAD's Adaptive ERP and complementary solutions meet their financial needs.
  • Design, build, and deliver compelling software demonstrations and executive presentations focused on tangible business outcomes, ROI, financial process transformation, improved financial visibility, and efficient statutory reporting.
  • Partner with the sales team to build customized win strategies, craft RFP/RFI responses, and navigate complex technical evaluations.
  • Maintain a premier level of knowledge regarding QAD’s suite of solutions, financial and accounting industry trends (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP), and the competitive landscape.
