About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor (FSA) Stage I role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on building a career in financial advising. The program includes comprehensive training and licensing support to obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses. Upon licensure, individuals will learn foundational skills in client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing tailored advice and solutions. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment services, with opportunities for advancement to FSA Stage II and beyond. The program emphasizes a consultative approach to client needs and collaboration with banking and investment partners. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration in the federal system, which is a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) within specified timeframes.
  • Acquire, build, and manage client relationships.
  • Assess a client’s complex financial picture and guide them with advice and solutions.
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews/presentations.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Interact with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
  • Manage time and capacity effectively.
  • Execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learn and adapt to new technology or applications.
