About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on obtaining necessary securities licenses and building foundational advisory skills. Upon obtaining licenses such as SIE, Series 7, and Series 66, individuals will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess financial needs, and provide tailored advice and solutions. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions. Successful progression leads to the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II role, with further opportunities for advancement within Bank of America and Merrill. The program includes comprehensive training, coaching, and resources to support career growth. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential mortgage originations.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
