About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role is an entry-level position focused on obtaining Securities Industry licenses and developing foundational advisory skills. The program includes dedicated training for SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Upon licensing, individuals will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess financial needs, and provide advice and solutions. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions. Successful completion of Stage I typically leads to progression to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where clients' portfolios are grown and deepened. The Academy provides ongoing support, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration with the federal registry system for residential loan mortgage originations. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination.   • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within specified timeframes.
  • Acquire, build, and manage client relationships.
  • Assess clients' complex financial pictures and guide them with advice and solutions.
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions in a financial center.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews/presentations.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided by Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Register with the federal registry system and maintain good standing as required by the SAFE Act.
