About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor (FSA) Stage I role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on building a career in financial advising. The program begins with obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses, including the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams, with dedicated training and study time provided. Upon licensing, individuals will learn foundational skills in client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing advice and solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. The role starts in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions, and progresses through defined stages of development. Successful completion of Stage I typically leads to the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II role, with further opportunities for advancement within Bank of America and Merrill. The program is supported by The Academy with dedicated resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential loan mortgage originations, requiring federal registry submission and background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
