About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with dedicated training and study time to obtain the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66). After licensing, the advisor develops foundational skills in acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, assessing clients’ financial situations, and providing advice and solutions. After reaching key development milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking, investment solutions, and client care. Successful Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio, with potential advancement to other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The role is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including registration with the federal registry system and completion of the required background check. Employees must obtain and maintain registration to remain in the role. The position is open across the Seattle market; the specific financial center will be determined based on business needs. The employee may train at one financial center and initially work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. Example schedules include 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and 9 a.m.–6 p.m. The role is first shift and 40 hours per week. Pay is $28.85–$33.65 per hour, with offers determined by experience, education, and skill set. Compensation is base salary and is not incentive eligible. The position is benefits eligible.
