At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins by obtaining securities licenses through dedicated, personalized instruction for the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; understanding clients’ financial circumstances; and providing advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions and client care. Training, tools, and resources support development throughout the role. Successful licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I employees typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they continue developing their skills and deepen relationships within a client portfolio. Stage II employees may have opportunities to advance into other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees involved in residential mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in immediate termination. The position is open across the Central NJ market, and the financial center assignment will depend on business needs. New hires train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within a reasonable commuting distance of their home is determined, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays required, on first shift, for 40 hours per week.
