At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes and study time for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding clients’ financial situations, and providing advice and solutions. After completing key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking, investment solutions, and client care. Training, coaching, programs, tools, and resources support development. Successful FSA I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio, with opportunities to advance to other roles within Bank of America and Merrill. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in immediate termination. The position is open across the Southern NJ market, and the financial center location will be determined by business needs. The employee will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within a reasonable commuting distance of home is determined, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required, on the first shift, for 40 hours per week. The role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible. The stated hourly pay range is $28.85–$33.65, with offers determined by experience, education, and skill set.
