About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on obtaining necessary securities industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated training. Upon licensure, individuals will learn foundational advisory skills, including client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing advice to help clients achieve their financial goals. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions. Successful performance as an FSA I typically leads to progression to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, with further opportunities for advancement within Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides ongoing support through dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, which involves registering with the federal registry system and undergoing a background check. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination.

  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience
