About The Position

This role at Bank of America is for a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) and involves a structured journey to become a licensed advisor. Initially, candidates will receive dedicated training to obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Upon licensure, the role focuses on developing foundational advisory skills, including client acquisition, relationship management, and providing comprehensive financial advice and solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. The position emphasizes humanizing financial interactions and delivering Bank of America's core banking and investment solutions. Successful FSA I individuals are expected to progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they will further develop client relationships within a portfolio of clients. The Academy provides continuous support, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check, and failure to maintain registration can lead to immediate termination. Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses (SIE within 30 days of being hired & Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days)
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing (SAFE Act registration)

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience
  • Spanish speaking

  • Acquire, build and manage client relationships
  • Consider a client’s complex financial picture and guide them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives
  • Help to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and approach to client care
  • Practice the skills learned by growing and deepening relationships within a portfolio of clients (as Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II)
  • Build a successful career at Bank of America through world-class training and on-boarding programs

  • Grow business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach with clients to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions
