About The Position

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins by obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, including the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams, through dedicated and personalized classes. Once licensed, you will be taught foundational advisor skills, encompassing client acquisition, relationship building and management, and guiding clients with advice and solutions based on their complex financial pictures. Upon reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center, delivering Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions and client care approach. The company provides comprehensive support, including world-class training, onboarding programs, and one-on-one coaching. Successful Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I individuals typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they continue to grow and deepen client relationships within a client portfolio. The Academy offers dedicated programs, tools, and resources for career development. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including registration with the federal registry system and a background check, with failure to maintain registration potentially resulting in termination. The role involves building a successful career, growing business knowledge through a consultative approach, earning required licenses within specified timeframes, building a professional network, providing comprehensive financial advice, and collaborating with banking and investment partners to meet client needs.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Obtain your SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Obtain your Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.
  • Submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaking.

  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to the solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing as per SAFE Act requirements.
