About The Position

At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor helps clients achieve their financial goals by providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions. The role triages client leads and requests, refers clients to business partners based on their needs and asset thresholds, and meets with clients to review financial and investment goals and recommend products. Advisors build financial plans using brokerage products—including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities—as well as banking and managed-money solutions. They recommend strategies aligned with client needs, manage risk, and identify potential clients through referrals and financial center clientele. The position requires completing required licenses and training and is subject to SAFE Act registration and background-check requirements because it may involve residential mortgage loan origination. Employees must register with the federal registry and remain in good standing; failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination. This role is open across the Upstate New York market. If hired, the employee will initially train at one financial center and may then work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location within a reasonable commuting distance of home is determined, to the extent permitted by law. The role is first shift and works 40 hours per week. Compensation is $28.85–$33.65 per hour, based on experience, education, and skill set; the position has base pay and is not incentive eligible. It is benefits eligible and includes access to paid time off.
