About The Position

Morgan Stanley's Tampa Return to Work program is a 16-week paid initiative running from January 18, 2027, through May 7, 2027. This program is designed for experienced professionals who have taken a career break and are looking to re-enter the workforce. Participants will be placed in roles aligned with their expertise, with opportunities for comprehensive training, mentorship, and professional development. The program welcomes motivated candidates from diverse backgrounds and industries, valuing the unique skills and experiences they bring. The Wealth Management division focuses on helping clients build, preserve, and manage wealth. This specific role is for an unlicensed Financial Services Representative who will engage clients via phone, answer questions about stock portfolios, and utilize customer service and problem-solving skills. Morgan Stanley will sponsor the training and licensing for the Series 7 & 63 exams.

Requirements

  • Successfully passed the Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) Exam
  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management or Administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (1 year of work experience can substitute 1 year of education)
  • At least 2 years working in a customer-facing role
  • Must be flexible to work a hybrid schedule (3 days a week in office)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for an employment visa status.
  • Must have been out of the workforce for two or more years (calculated as of January 2027).

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a call center environment or within a financial institution
  • Ability to articulate experience working on a team and in a highly collaborative environment
  • Previous experience meeting sales goals either through full-time work or college internships
  • Considered a people-person with extraordinary interpersonal skills, a strong team orientation and resiliency

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by identifying customer needs and determining the best solution for them.
  • Educate customers on Morgan Stanley’s competitive advantage and identify additional products they would benefit from.
  • Show determination to drive sales by engaging customers and identifying new opportunities.
  • Follow processes and manage time efficiently throughout the day.
  • Continually learn about investments and the financial markets to address individual client investment needs.
  • Help the company identify opportunities to keep clients and minimize risk.
  • Maintain a high level of personal integrity and comply with Morgan Stanley’s Code of Conduct.
  • Connect with other groups to gather information to resolve customer issues.
  • Be involved in other projects and tasks as needed.
  • Field inbound customer inquiries to assist customers with account-related requests such as money movement, account updates, and trade requests.
  • Follow up with customers regarding outstanding account-related items.
  • Participate in continuing education and development.
