About The Position

Morgan Stanley is offering a Return to Work program in Tampa, FL, designed for experienced professionals who have taken a career break and are looking to re-enter the workforce. This 16-week paid program, running from January 18, 2027, to May 7, 2027, aims to place participants in roles that leverage their existing expertise while providing comprehensive training, mentorship, and professional development. The program welcomes motivated candidates from diverse industries and backgrounds, emphasizing inclusion and the value of varied life experiences. The specific role is for a Financial Services Representative within the Wealth Management division, focusing on client engagement, problem-solving, and sales through incoming calls. Morgan Stanley will support participants in obtaining Series 7 & 63 Licenses.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management or Administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (1 year of work experience can substitute 1 year of education).
At least 2 years working in a customer-facing role.
Must be flexible to work a hybrid schedule (3 days a week in office).
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status.
Must have been out of the workforce for two or more years (calculated as of January 2027).

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years’ experience working in a call center environment or within a financial institution.
Ability to articulate experience working on a team and in a highly collaborative environment.
Previous experience in a role where sales goals were met, either through full-time work or college internships.
Considered a people-person with extraordinary interpersonal skills, a strong team orientation and resiliency.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by identifying customer needs and determining the best solution for them.
Educate customers on Morgan Stanley’s competitive advantage and identify additional products they would benefit from.
Show determination to drive sales by engaging customers and identifying new opportunities.
Follow processes and manage time efficiently throughout the day.
Continually learn about investments and the financial markets to address individual client needs.
Help the company identify opportunities to keep clients and minimize risk.

Connect with other groups to gather information to resolve customer issues.
Be involved in other projects and tasks.
Field inbound customer inquiries to assist customers with account related requests such as money movement, account updates, and trade requests.
