The position involves collecting and entering eligibility information into the Katahdin system, communicating with caseworkers and other agencies, obtaining benefits for children in state care, performing quality assurance audits, and assisting with state and federal audits. The Financial Resource Unit specifically determines Title IV-E eligibility for children in state custody and ensures they receive MaineCare services and benefits.
