The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field (e.g., Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources).
At least 10 years of related experience.
Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, will generate monthly performance review briefings using Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
Will support performance of budgeting, forecasting functions.
Will support performance of ensuring appropriate charging of costs to specified work breakdown structure (WBS) line items.
Assess and partner corrective action and mitigation plans.
Will support business analysts in monitoring costs and schedules.
Will work as part of a team responsible for generating, validating and submitting contractual financial deliverables (DRs) to NASA.
Prepare management briefing reports summarizing cost performance at a total contract.
Require excellent time management skills to be able to multi-task without sacrificing accuracy and deadlines, self-motivated, demonstrated initiative and be able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Perform other duties as needed across Financial Planning/Reporting and Finance/Accounting.
