The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager/Director will perform and oversee the function of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, executive and board reporting and KPI development and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel/modeling
  • Minimum 1 year management experience required
  • Healthcare experience required — physician practice and/or value-based care, RCM literacy
  • Ability to work with imperfect data systems and ambiguity
  • Hands on; Can build models, analysis, reporting from scratch
  • College degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 6 months experience with Data + BI tools similar a plus
  • PowerPoint a plus
  • Masters preferred
  • DMV preferred with on-site expectations
  • CPA license is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Key driver-based financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Owner of annual budget process and quarterly reforecasts
  • Close variance analysis and management reporting package
  • Cash flow analysis and forecasts
  • KPI development and maintenance
  • Partnership with operations and leadership on business initiatives, new site/program pro formas, ROI analysis and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Partner with CFO on strategic analysis and Board/Parent (CareFirst) reporting
  • Assign and oversee projects and tasks of Financial Planning & Analyst staff
