About The Position

The Financial Analyst will provide analytical and business-partnering support to the Rental Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Hilton Grand Vacations. This role supports the end-to-end planning and reporting cycle for the Rental business, including monthly close and performance reporting, forecast and budget preparation, variance analysis, and key driver/volume assumptions. The Financial Analyst will help develop and maintain financial models and KPIs to evaluate revenue, margin, operating expenses, and profitability, and will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and communicate results. The position will also support the creation of monthly/quarterly reporting packages, quarterly business reviews, and annual budget presentations, as well as ad hoc analysis to inform operational and strategic decisions. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment with regular exposure to leadership and should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication. The Financial Analyst should demonstrate strong Excel and financial modeling skills, experience working with large data sets, and the ability to translate results into clear, actionable insights.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a closely related field is required
  • 1–3 years of relevant FP&A, corporate finance, or business analytics experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required (advanced Excel)
  • Knowledge of financial statements and GAAP concepts is required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines across the forecast and budget calendar
  • Discretion when working with confidential and sensitive information
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a highly quantitative field
  • 1-3 years of related experience in finance/accounting
  • Strong analytical skills and strong Excel financial modeling capabilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required for working with all levels of management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, with expert use of Excel
  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements for sensitive projects is a must

Nice To Haves

  • MBA is a plus
  • CPA or CFA license (or in process) is a plus
  • Experience in hospitality, vacation ownership, or rentals is preferred
  • Oracle EPM and SmartView experience is a plus
  • Experience with revenue/volume drivers, pricing and yield concepts, and profitability analytics
  • MBA/CPA/CFA or in process

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director, FP&A in preparation of the close, forecast and budget files and support including variance analysis
  • Assist the Director, FP&A in preparation of ad hoc analysis and requests
  • Assist the team in the business partner support function for the Rental team
  • Work with business partners for information gathering, variance analysis, and reporting
  • Participation in the creation of monthly forecast packages, quarterly business reviews, and annual budget presentations
