Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance related field ie. Commerce, Economics, Business etc.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience (ex. processing payments or transactions)
- Intermediate skills in Excel, 7/10+
- Strong oral and written English skills as it is required for communicating with 3rd party vendors such as international banks, clients and other fintech organizations, French is necessary for communicating at the office.
- Problem-solver, analytical and forward-thinking
- Likes challenges; self-driven and passionate about Fintech
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in the Fintech industry; strong asset
- Experience working with payment schemes including Mastercard, Visa etc.
Responsibilities
- Receiving daily payments from clients, verifying in accordance with internal compliance policies, and posting transactions in the system on clients’ accounts or prepaid cards
- Responding to incoming tickets from clients, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues
- Monthly billing on clients’ accounts
- Corresponding with internal teams regarding clients’ transactions, accounts or cards
- Executing a high volume of transactions in bank accounts (including crypto accounts) with a high degree of accuracy
- Ad hoc Financial Operations related tasks
- Assisting the Financial Analysts with monthly and quarterly reporting
- Participating in initiatives to optimize and improve internal processes
