Manager Financial Operation
About The Position
The Financial Operations Manager is an integral part of the Divisional CFO business partner and Finance function of Franciscan Health. The role serves as a change agent for operational and financial improvement and strategic growth. The manager works with divisional leadership, physicians, department staff, and others to provide strategic and tactical support for the business development objectives of designated programs and service lines. In collaboration with the Community of Expertise (COE), the role supports operating and capital budgets, ongoing financial forecasts, financial analyses, financial reporting, and the audit process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
- Five years of budgeting and/or financial analysis experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
- One year of healthcare experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from a State Licensing Board.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with service-line leadership to evaluate financial information and provide data and analysis to support marketplace decision-making.
- Identify and develop opportunities to provide services.
- Serve as a change agent for operational and financial improvement and strategic growth.
- Collaborate with the Community of Expertise when preparing operating and capital budgets, ongoing financial forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Assist with financial reporting and the audit process.
